Correction to the 2011 Publication 530, Tax Information for Homeowners --12-MAR-2012
If you downloaded the 2011 Publication 530 before March 12, 2012, please note the following correction.
On page 8, in the center column, the numerator and denominator in the example were reversed. The fraction should read "$100,000/$125,000." The example still provides the correct answer.
The corrected version of the 2011 Publication 530 is now available on IRS.gov.
