Correction to Publication 1179 (Revenue Procedure 2011-60)
If you downloaded Publication 1179 (Revenue Procedure 2011-60), General Rules and Specifications for Substitute Forms 1096, 1098, 1099, 5498, and Certain Other Information Returns, before January 18, 2012, note the following correction.
In Section 2.1.7 (Dimension) for 2011, third paragraph, it should be as follows:
1. There should be a 2 - 2.5 inch right margin.
2. There should be a 1/20 (0.05) inch tolerance for the right margin.
