Change to the 2011 Instructions for Form 709, United States Gift (and Generation-Skipping Transfer) Tax Return -- 16-MAR-2012
If you downloaded the 2011 Instructions for Form 709 on or before March 16, 2012, please note the following correction.
On page 16, the final paragraph of the instructions has been changed to read:
"The authorization will automatically end three years from the date of filing Form 709. If you wish to revoke the authorization before it ends, see Pub. 947."
The corrected version of the 2011 Instructions for Form 709, United States Gift (and Generation-Skipping Transfer) Tax Return, is now available for download.
