ITG FAQ #6 Answer- When is there an increase in the section 179 deduction?

Section 1397A increases the section 179 deduction if your business qualifies as an "enterprise zone business." The increase can be as much as $20,000. The increased section 179 deduction applies to "qualified zone property" you place in an empowerment zone.
