Tax Forms Outlet Program (TFOP)

Overview

The Tax Forms Outlet Program (TFOP) provides taxpayers with access to tax forms and related products. TFOP partners include some libraries, post offices, government agencies, and military installations.

Due to the increased use of electronic filing, new participation in the TFOP is based on review of current outlets and their locations. To participate in the TFOP, e-mail your request to WI.TFOP.Administrator@irs.gov. Include the organization's name, type of organization (library, post office, government agency, etc) shipping address (street), and contact person (name, telephone number and e-mail address). A TFOP administrator will review the request and research the need for a TFOP outlet at your location. Please allow 2-3 weeks for a response.

Taxpayers may obtain forms many ways. See IRS Publication 2053A, Quick and Easy Access to IRS Tax Help and Tax Products for more information.

Form 8635, Tax Forms Outlet Program (TFOP) Order Form

Mailed, faxed or telephoned orders are no longer accepted. Partners use Form 8635 to order federal tax products for their locations. Each active partner receives an e-mail that contains Form 8635 and program information. Form 8635 is an electronic order form that includes pre-loaded information. It must be returned to the IRS by e-mail only.

Toensure receipt of Form 8635 timely, partners should e-mail their TFOP account number to wi.tfop.administrator@irs.gov to verify or correct their email account information. If you are a partner and do not know your account number than you will need to include your contact information and the account's complete shipping address.

Please do not allow other account locations or organizations to modify or submit your Form 8635 as this will delete your account information or result in multiple and/or misdirected shipments.

Order Process:

To complete Form 8635, please refer to the order form instructions.

TFOP partners will:

  1. Receive an e-mail containing their Form 8635.
  2. Verify/update contact and shipping information.
  3. Select quantities for each tax product needed.
  4. Save the completed Form 8635 to their computer.
  5. E-mail the completed Form 8635 to pdf.orders@eforms.enterprise.irs.gov for processing.

Reorder

Any order placed after the initial order is considered a reorder. Use your Form 8635 to place a TFOP reorder. If you need a replacement order please contact us at wi.tfop.administrator@irs.gov. You will need to include your account number and daytime telephone number.

Within 24 hours of submitting your order you should receive an e-mail acknowledgement. If not, please send an e-mail to wi.tfop.administrator@irs.gov with 'No Acknowledgement Received' in the subject line.

No Longer Want to Participate?

If you no longer want to participate in the program, please contact a TFOP representative at 1-800-829-2765 or via e-mail at wi.tfop.administrator@irs.gov. Please include your account number and contact information.
