IRS e-file Processing Schedule Live Production for Form 1040 Series and Electronic Transmitted Documents (ETDs) - Tax Year 2011
Software developers and transmitters must call the e-help Desk to receive the URL to use for transmitting files via the internet. The e-help Desk telephone number and the transmission drain times are shown below. Call the Home Submission Processing Center for the following:
- Transmission problems;
- Reject codes;
- Status of processing; and
- If you need another Test ETIN while filing production;
NOTE: Transmitters are able to reset all types of Acknowledgement Files by choosing menu option 8 from the EMS Main Menu. Transmitters must enter either the GTX Key or ACK file Reference Name. If you have difficulty, you may contact the e-Help Desk.
1040 Live Production Drains
- January 17, 2012 – April 22, 2012 – 3 drains daily (11am, 6pm & 2am local Home Submission Processing Center time)
- The processing date will be the same for each drain time.
- Note: There will be no processing on Federal Holidays after 4/22/2012
