Federal/State Filing Program for 1041 e-file
Currently New York is the only state participating in the Federal/State Filing Program. This joint filing option benefits the states, banks, Software Developers, Return Transmitters and Authorized IRS e-file Providers because the Form 1041 can contain several thousands of Schedules K-1.
