TY2006 Current Valid XML Schemas and Business Rules for Exempt Organizations Modernized e-File (MeF)
The following links provide information and technical guidance for software developers and transmitters who are interested in developing software for the Modernized e-File Forms 990/990-EZ/990-PF/1120-POL/8868 for Tax Year (TY) 2006. Included in the table are the XML Schemas, Business Rules, a Release Memorandum and any specific instructions for that particular schema or business rule version. Test scenarios are provided in Publication 4205.
The TY2006 schemas and business rules for Form 7004 are posted on the Production and ATS System charts at Current Valid XML Schemas for 1120/1120S Modernized e-File.
Stylesheets – Forms 990/990EZ/990-PF/1120-POL/8868 and corporate Forms 1120/1120S/7004 stylesheets can be downloaded for use in displaying XML tax return data.
