Event Information: The Missouri Tax Symposium is sponsored by the Missouri Practitioner Organizations and the Internal Revenue Service. Representatives from the IRS will provide information to tax professionals on such topics as Examination and Collection Issues, Identity Theft, Tax Law Updates, the Taxpayer Advocate's Office, and more.
The Symposium is designed in a way to encourage practitioners to address important tax topics and issues with IRS representatives first hand. The Taxpayer Advocate again will have additional case advocates to speak to individuals at the Symposium. Sign up will be included in registration. Participants will receive up to 7 hours of Continuing Professional Educations, CE for EAs, or Legal Education. There is a cost for this event that is being charged by the Missouri Chapter of NATP. Registration cost will be $50 for early registration through August 14, 2013. The fee is $65 for late registration and walk ins. Fees include refreshments, lunch and CPE hours. IRS is not charging for this event. Sign-in the day of the event will begin at 7:30 a.m. Registration will not start until June 1, 2013, so visit the National Association of Tax Professionals website for more information on registration.
