Event Information: The Kansas Tax Symposium is sponsored by the Kansas Practitioner Organizations and the Internal Revenue Service. Representatives from the IRS will provide information to tax professionals on such topics as Examination and Collection Issues, Identity Theft, Tax Law Updates, the Taxpayer Advocate's Office, and more.
The Symposium is designed in a way to encourage practitioners to address important tax topics and issues with IRS representatives first hand. Participants will receive up to 7 hours of Continuing Professional Educations, CE for EAs, or Legal Education. There is a cost for this event that is being charged by the Kansas Chapter of NATP. Registration cost will be $50 for early registration. Additional fees will be charged for late registration. Fees include refreshments, lunch and CPE hours. IRS is not charging for this event. Sign-in the day of the event will begin at 7:30 a.m. To register for the event either print off a registration form and mail it with your check to NATP or go online and register with a credit card. The registration form and instructions will be available on the National Association of Tax Professionals website.
