Event Information: The Alabama Department of Revenue frequently hosts new business workshops across the state. Participants will receive a brief, but comprehensive overview of Alabama and some Federal taxes that will enable the business to begin operation with a clear understanding of its tax obligations. Check the times shown to determine which of the two sessions offered during the day would be convenient for you to attend. IRS will be providing publications. Event Information: The NxLeveL for Business Start-ups course is a 9-session course designed for people who want to start a business and need the skills to test the feasibility of their business concept. Participants develop a business plan which acts as a blueprint for their start-up venture.

The series cost is normally $150; however, supplemental funding is allowing a temporary cost reduction. This course is $100 which includes all nine sessions, books, and materials. Seating is limited and reserved for the first 25 paid attendees. IRS will provide small business materials and publications for the workshop. Any fees are by the hosting organization and not the Internal Revenue Service.
